Health Education provides educational programs on alcohol and other drugs. In addition, there is an alcohol and other drug health educator on staff who can provide confidential information for students who want some advice or just want to ask some questions about the effects of drugs.

SHS offers a variety of health services, provided by a staff who all have special experience with the medical problems of college students. Upon seeking help for reasons such as intoxication, alcohol poisoning, and other substance use, the medical situation will be attended to immediately. In addition to day service, SHS provides a Night/Weekend Service staffed by senior medical residents and fellows as well as nurse practitioners. An attending physician is always on call for emergencies. Additionally, according to your need, SHS can help you access other University or Hospital resources.

The mission of the Penn Women's Center (PWC) is to ensure that the University of Pennsylvania is responsive to women's concerns in any activity and at all levels. The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Center at Penn, one of the oldest and most active programs of its kind in the country, supports Penn lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students, staff, alumni, and faculty and increases the general Penn community’s understanding and acceptance of its sexual and gender minority members. Established in 1982, the Center provides a variety of services throughout the year for and concerning Penn's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community.

The House Deans, Faculty Masters, RAs and GAs can all listen confidentially to your concerns and help you decide what to do about it. Drug and Alcohol Resource Team (DART)

DART is Penn’s drug and alcohol peer education group. They launched the “Say Something at Penn” student trainings during the Fall 2005 semester, hosting training sessions for campus leaders on how to talk to a friend who may have a drug, substance, or other problem. DART holds Say Something trainings in the fall semester for all student leaders, and will do programming specific to the Greek houses in the spring.
